Dense Fog Advisory Issued by NWS NorthernIndiana (Northern Indiana and Northeastern Ohio)

Indiana Target Area: Adams, Allen, Blackford, Cass, De Kalb, Fulton, Grant, Huntington, Jay, Kosciusko, Lagrange, Miami, Noble, Steuben, Wabash, Wells and Whitley Counties.

 

DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM EDT THIS MORNING.


The National Weather Service in Northern Indiana has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect until 9 AM EDT this morning.

 

HAZARDOUS WEATHER:
*Widespread fog with visibility lowering to around or under a quarter of a mile overnight.
*Until 9 AM EDT.

IMPACTS:
*Very low visibility at night combined with areas of drizzle will make travel very hazardous.


Instructions: A Dense Fog Advisory means visibility will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use your headlights and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.

Special Weather Statement Issued by NWS NorthernIndiana (Northern Indiana and Northeastern Ohio)

Indiana Target Area: Cass, Fulton, Kosciusko, Miami and Wabash Counties.

 

At 443 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 7 miles south of Rochester, moving east at 45 mph.
Wind gusts up to 50 mph are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include: Rochester, Akron, Roann, Claypool, Fulton, Macy, Burket, Ijamsville,
Stockdale, Nyena Lake, Deedsville, Athens, Palestine, Beaver Dam Lake, Sevastopol, Laketon, Beaver Dam, Lake Manitou, Gilead and Disko.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
