Broadcast Feed Server - Upcoming Change Notification

Scanner listeners: This will affect the Analog Scanner.

One or more feeds that you broadcast will be affected by a server move next week. A server upgrade requires us to move the audio1 master server to new hardware.

Because of this move, the IP address of the audio1 server will change. Most broadcast software will automatically change over to the new server with no change or action on your part, however if you are running broadcast software or hardware that requires a hard-coded IP address (such as the Barix Instastreamer), you will need to manually update the IP address when we make the move.

The move is scheduled for your server on Monday morning, November 16th at 9:00 AM CST/ 10:00 EST.

Broadcast Feed Server - Upcoming Change Notification

Scanner listeners: This will affect the Digital Scanner.

One or more feeds that you broadcast will be affected by a server move next week. A server upgrade requires us to move the audio9 master server to new hardware:

Because of this move, the IP address of the audio3 server will change. Most broadcast software will automatically change over to the new server with no change or action on your part, however, if you are running broadcast software or hardware that requires a hard-coded IP address (such as the Barix Instastreamer), you will need to manually update the IP address when we make the move.

The move is scheduled for your server on Tuesday morning, November 17th at 9:00 AM CST/ 10:00 EST.

This is for normal usage of each scanner. The Analog Scanner will be going offline on Sunday night between midnight and 1:00 am. The Digital Scanner will be going off line on Monday Nights between mindnight and 1:00 am. The exceptions to this are, if there are any bad to severe weather and/or if there is anything happening on the scanner. If they are kept running on Sunday night then the online scanners will be going offline on Monday night at the same times and back up on Tuesday sometime.  Most of the time the Analog online scanner will be back up and running on Monday afternoons and the Digital scanner will be back up and running on Tuesday afternoons. There are exceptions to this rule and when that happens the scanner will be offline until they are back online. When they are back online, depending on which website you are using, it will show when they are back online.

I have been in contact with Radiofeference.com and Broadcastify.com staff members on my Digital Scanner feed. They said that their audio 3 server is down and could take 3+ hours to get back up and running. When the server comes back online I will restart the Digital Feed. If it will take longer than 3 hours I will update this article. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. Brandon.
