Special Weather Statement Issued by NWS NorthernIndiana (Northern Indiana and Northeastern Ohio)

Indiana Target Area: Cass, Fulton, Pulaski, and White Counties.


A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northeastern White, southeastern Pulaski, southwestern Fulton and northwestern Cass Counties through 845 PM EDT.

At 738 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Royal Center, or 11 miles northwest of Logansport, moving northeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include: Royal Center, Pulaski, Fulton, Leases Corner, Headlee, Lawton, Grass Creek, Star City, Thornhope, Fletcher, Lucerne, Bell Center, Marshtown and Buffalo.

Instructions: If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
