This will prolong ongoing hazardous driving conditions for locations along and south of Route 24 in northern Indiana and northwest Ohio. There will be a period of time after precipitation has changed to light rain where ice will continue to be present on roadways and elevated surfaces. Motorists should continue to monitor road conditions and slow down as black ice is possible, especially on untreated secondary roads. Give yourself extra time to get to your destination and allow for extra braking distance.
