Winter Weather Advisory Issued by NWS NorthernIndiana (Northern Indiana and Northeastern Ohio)

Indiana Target Area: Allen, De Kalb, Fulton, Kosciusko, Marshall, Noble, Pulaski, Starke, and Whitley Counties.

 

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM EST /4 PM CST/ MONDAY TO 1 PM EST /NOON CST/ TUESDAY.

*WHAT: Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches and ice accumulations of up to one-tenth of an inch.

*WHERE: Portions of northern Indiana and northwest Ohio.

*WHEN: From 5 PM EST /4 PM CST/ Monday to 1 PM EST /noon CST/ Tuesday.

*IMPACTS: Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday evening and Tuesday morning commutes.

*ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Light snow is expected to develop during the mid to late afternoon hours on Monday, but should quickly change over to a wintry mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain late Monday afternoon into Monday evening. A lull in the more widespread precipitation is possible later Monday night.
