Indiana Target Area: Adams, Allen, Blackford, Cass, De Kalb, Elkhart, Fulton, Grant, Huntington, Jay, Kosciusko, La Porte, Lagrange, Marshall, Miami, Noble, Pulaski, St. Joseph, Starke, Steuben, Wabash, Wells, White, and Whitley Counties.

FREEZING TEMPERATURES AND FROST TONIGHT AND TUESDAY NIGHT

LOW TEMPERATURES WILL DROP TO AROUND 30 TOWARD DAYBREAK TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY MORNINGS. AREAS OF FROST WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE WITH THESE BELOW FREEZING TEMPERATURES. WHILE THE GROWING SEASON HAS BEEN LIMITED SO FAR ACROSS MOST OF THE AREA...A FEW LOCATIONS WHICH TYPICALLY ARM FASTER IN THE SPRING MAY HAVE SOME EARLY WHICH TYPICALLY WARM FASTER IN THE SPRING MAY HAVE SOME EARLY DEVELOPMENT OF FLOWERS AND BUDS ON TREES. THIS DEVELOPMENT MAY BE SUSCEPTIBLE TO TEMPERATURES AROUND 30 AND FROST. IF YOU HAVE ANY PLANTS OR TREES THAT HAVE DEVELOPED EARLY OR ARE SUSCEPTIBLE TO VERY COLD TEMPERATURES...YOU SHOULD BE PREPARED TO CARE FOR THE SENSITIVE VEGETATION TONIGHT AND TUESDAY NIGHT. ANY SENSITIVE ANNUAL PLANTS THAT HAVE BEEN PUT OUTSIDE EARLY SHOULD BE COVERED OR BROUGHT INDOORS. MUCH WARMER WEATHER IS EXPECTED BY THE MIDDLE AND END OF THE WEEK.
